Google Business Profile setup and optimization in Carrollton, TX

Google Business Profile setup and optimization in Carrollton is the one-time job of making your profile say exactly what you do, in the categories and services Google matches searches against. Get it right and every month of management afterwards builds on a solid foundation. Get it wrong and the monthly work pushes against a profile that tells Google the wrong story. Most Carrollton profiles we open have one category, no services, and a description written for nobody.

    Is this for you?

    This is for you if

    • Your profile was never set up properly, or the person who set it up has left
    • It lists one category and no services
    • There is a duplicate or unverified listing for your business
    • You moved, or what you do has changed since the profile was made

This is not for you if

    • You want it done once and never touched again. Setup is where the work starts, not where it ends.
    • You want the services list stuffed with keywords. That reads as spam to customers and to Google.
    • You do not have access to the profile and cannot get it back.

    How it works

    01

Audit the listing as it is

We look at the profile the way Google does: categories, services, hours, photos, duplicates, and who has access. You get a short list of what is wrong and why it matters.

    02

Start the fixes in week one

Work on categories, services, description, hours, and photos starts in the first week. Verification or reclaiming an unverified listing runs on Google's schedule. Anything that needs your answer, like a service you no longer offer, comes to your phone.

    03

Hand it into the monthly rhythm

The profile moves into Get Found's monthly management, so the foundation stays accurate as your business changes.

    Categories are the whole game

Of everything on a profile, the primary category carries the most weight. It decides which searches you are even eligible to appear for. A plumber listed only as a general contractor is invisible to someone who typed plumber, no matter how many good reviews the listing has. You get one primary category and up to nine secondaries, and most owners pick one and stop.

A common myth says secondary categories dilute the primary. They do not. Each one that honestly describes part of your work opens another set of searches. The skill is choosing by how a customer types, not by the trade's own vocabulary. Customers search for water heater repair, not for a licensed mechanical contractor, and the categories should follow the customer.

    Services, one entry per meaning

Google matches entities, not keywords. It is trying to understand what your business is and which jobs it does, so the services list works best when each entry means one distinct thing. Listing the same service over and over with Plano, Frisco, and every other DFW suburb attached does not help, and it makes the profile look careless to the people reading it.

Each service we add gets a short, plain description, and each one gets a matching page on your website, so the profile and the site describe the same business in the same words. That agreement is what earns Google's confidence. This site is built the same way: one page per service, under the name it carries on the profile.

    The parts everyone forgets

Holiday hours are temporary by design. Enter them for one holiday and they are gone by the next, so a customer who checks on the following long weekend sees your regular hours and drives to a locked door. We enter them ahead of every holiday, not after the complaint.

The first line of the description is the one people see before they tap, so it should say what you do and who you do it for. The questions and answers section can be seeded by the owner, which means you can post the questions customers really ask, with your answer, before a stranger posts a guess. Photos should show real work: your team, your storefront, and jobs you finished, not stock images.
